We are proud to announce that Wallis Drilling was named a finalist in @inside_bhp’s WAIO Vendor Excellence Award for both the “Innovation” and “Safety” categories for our brand-new W400RC Drill Rig and the redesigned remote operating control panel, respectively.
This next-generation rig represents the future of drilling, featuring major safety and automation advancements, including a complete redesign of the remote drill control panel, putting driller safety at the forefront. The W400RC also delivers greater efficiency through increased automation, reduced manual handling, enhanced data capture, and an overall smarter operating system.
The redesigned control panel is an example of continuous improvement. With increased functionality and at nearly half the size and weight of the previous design significantly reducing manual handling risk and allowing for even more functionality away from high-risk work areas.
