Kim Wallis

Kim Wallis is the Drilling Manager – Exploration at Wallis Drilling and has more than 19 years of experience across drilling operations, business development, and strategic client management within the Australian resources sector. During his time with the company, Kim has held a range of operational and leadership roles, developing extensive experience in exploration drilling programs for both major mining companies and junior explorers. He is focused on building high-performing teams, maintaining strong client partnerships, and delivering safe, efficient, and commercially sound outcomes.

Kim contributes to broader industry development through regular speaking engagements at industry forums and conferences, where he shares practical insights on drilling operations, safety, and innovation. He has also previously served on the WA Committee of the Australian Drilling Industry Association (ADIA). Prior to joining Wallis Drilling, Kim worked in the IT sector supporting tier-one professional services firms. He holds a Graduate Certificate of Business from The University of Western Australia and is a retired commissioned officer of the Australian Army.
