This forward attitude plus a comprehensive Safety, Health and Environmental Management Plan mean the Company is well placed in the occupational health and safety field. Wallis has moved with the times and a large and sincere commitment is made to the demands of Safety and Environmental Management within our industry.

The aim of the Safety, Health and Environmental Management Plan is to document the procedures and actions required to instigate a safe, healthy and environmentally friendly workplace throughout Wallis Drilling’s operations.

Wallis Drilling Pty Ltd has a strong record and commitment to safety and the environment, a culture which is enhanced by personal responsibility and ownership, supported by training, supervision and management.

Wallis Drilling recognises the value of training towards safety. Drill crews are provided with in-house inductions and professional provider training in risk assessment, job safety / environmental management analysis writing, safe work at heights, and safety audits as well as identification of hazards, first aid and forklift certification.

Site specific Safety, Health and Environmental Management Plan’s are drawn up for each work contract in the field.
