The Company operates under an Integrated Management System which includes accreditation in AS/NZS 4801-2001 Occupational Health and Safety, Management, the ISO 9001-2008 Quality System and the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
It is Wallis Drilling’s policy to seek and provide a safe and healthy working environment for all employees. This is done not only to comply with the law, but to prevent injury, ill health, damage or loss arising from any part of our operation.
The Company is accredited in AS/NZS 4801-2001 Occupational Health and Safety Management and ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems, which provide the framework for the safe and healthy framework.
A Safety, Health and Environmental Management Plan (SHEMP) is developed for each contract to ensure Wallis Drilling meets its legal obligations, the requirements under AS/NZS 4801-2001 and ISO 14001 and to assist the Client in meeting its legislative requirements under state mining or petroleum acts.
Wallis Drilling manages its incidents and hazards through a dedicated web-enabled Safety, Training and Environment Management System (STEMS). STEMS also manages and tracks actions from a variety of sources such as audits, inspections and incidents.
