Wallis Drilling offers a range of drilling techniques for exploration work including:

Drill crew are trained and qualified to a nationally recognised level (DRT2 and DRT3) for drillers and offsiders and are supported by experienced drilling supervisors, maintenance and engineering staff and management. Many staff members have been with the Company for over 10 years, with some for over 20 and 30 years.
The exploration drill fleet includes Schramm T685WS, KL900, UDR650 and Wallis-built Mantis Aircore drill rigs and Wallis-built diamond core drill rigs. The exploration fleet is available on either all wheel drive vehicles or tracked carriers, or can work on a large pontoon designed for salt lake work.
The Wallis “Aircore” drill rigs range in size from 4x4 Toyota mounted rigs to 6x6 MAN truck mounted rigs and tracked carrier capable of drilling to depths in excess of 250 metres. The mud rotary drilling fleet is mounted on 6x6 MAN trucks, The Reverse Circulation drilling fleet, with an auxiliary air package, is capable of drilling to depths in excess of 400 metres and mounted to 8x8 MAN trucks or tracked carriers. The Diamond Core drilling fleet is capable of drilling to depths in excess of 1200 metres and is mounted on 6x6 or 8x8 MAN trucks or tracked carriers.
Support equipment available includes caravans for remote exploration, satellite communications, lighting towers, auxiliary compressors and boosters and truck or tracked support.
